July Brew Guide – Recipes From Our Roasters + Brewing Tips

Enjoy the delicious coffees from our July 2025 edition with this handy brew guide. Explore recipes from our roasters and handy tips.

Time for a brand new brew guide!

Last month, I shared that I was in the process of dissolving my house in Amsterdam to prepare my move to Barcelona.

Well, that is all still ongoing as we speak. Every week, more and more things leave my house.

At the same time, I am feeling more and more liberated. You don’t realise how much stuff can tie you down until you’re figuring out how to get rid of it.

Anyway, I’ll post a full update on the move and what’s happening behind the scenes soon. For now, it’s time to dive into our latest Coffeevine edition and explore the recipes from our six talented roasters. Ready?

☕ What’s in the July Coffeevine Box?

This month’s selection features some really yummy treats from:

  • Five Ways
  • Senzu
  • Father Carpenter
  • Puerto Blest
  • Tongue Mission
  • Coffee & Coconuts

If you’re looking to brew with intent, these recipes will guide your hand and elevate your daily ritual.

🔧 Basic Brewing Setup – What You’ll Need

Before diving into the recipes, here’s what I recommend having on hand:

  • Precision scales (with or without timer)

  • Burr grinder (e.g. Comandante)

  • Your preferred brew method – V60, Origami, Kalita Wave, AeroPress, etc.

  • Freshly filtered or custom mineralized water (I use Lotus mineral drops – recipe coming soon!)

  • Clean decanter or vessel

  • Pouring kettle (or regular kettle + steady hand)

  • Agitator or spoon for stirring

🔄 Tip: Always grind your coffee fresh before brewing for maximum aroma.

❄️ Storage Tip: Vacuum-seal in portions, label, and freeze if needed.

If you’re pulling espresso at home, I use the Profitec Pro600 and ProT64 grinder for consistent results.
