New tracked delivery on shipments to 48 countries

Starting in June, we will offer complementary tracked delivery to customers across the world. Read this post to find out more.

One of the biggest challenges that we face as a small business is the delivery of our coffee boxes. It is always our goal and ambition to ship them on time and to have them land on our customers’ doorsteps quickly and in good order. Sadly, we’ve not always been successful at this.

The main reason for this is that we, until now, always shipped the vast majority of our packages without tracking as this was the most economical shipping method that we had access to. Our coffee boxes would then get picked up by the Dutch postal service and travel to all four corners of the world via all the local postal services in the various countries that we ship to.

Unfortunately, not all postal services are equally as reliable and this could sometimes mean that boxes were not properly delivered, got slightly delayed or would be held at the local postal service without our customers getting notified.

Since the beginning of this year, we’ve been working hard towards finding a suitable solution for tackling this problem and offering the vast majority of our customers an improved delivery experience. Following a lot of meetings, discussions and frustrations, we finally found a suitable option that will greatly improve our delivery experience without having to increase our prices.

Starting with our June box, we will offer complementary tracked delivery to customers in 48 different countries whose postal services Postnl has made an agreement with for a new product called ‘Small package tracked’. This product is specifically geared at small businesses who want to offer tracking without breaking the bank.

If you already have a subscription with us, then you will be upgraded to tracked delivery – provided you live in one of the countries listed above – at no extra cost. If you’ve added tracking to your order, we will correct your monthly payments or provide you with a partial refund for this month.

Our customers will then receive an email notification containing their tracking codes once their boxes have shipped. Please make sure you keep an eye on your ‘promotions’ or ‘spam’ folder as our boxes sometimes land there. We look forward to improving the Coffeevine experience going forward and hope that missing, delayed and returned boxes will now be a thing of the past.
