Calle de la Magdalena, 27, Centro, 28012 Madrid
☕️ Offers a variety of guest roasters including La Cabra, Coffee Collective and Threemarks

TOMA – The city’s first specialty coffee roaster is an institution
☕️ Excellent seasonal coffees served in a cosy coffee shop.

THE FIX – Local roaster with small café west of Salamanca

Madrid Tips You’ll Find Useful
🏰 Madrid is the seat of power and home to some of the best museums in the world. The city’s famous Retiro park is an oasis of green.
🍽️ As the centre point of the country, it is also home to really great restaurants. Don’t miss the churros!
🚐 Get around town on Madrid’s excellent Metro and bus system or grab a bike and enjoy the sights.
🤟🏻 English is becoming more widely spoken but nothing will beat having a basic grasp of the Spanish language
Final thoughts
Madrid became the go-to capital during the pandemic because it largely stayed open. Since then, it’s become one of Europe’s most vibrant cities with housing costs to match. But there’s little standing in the way of Madrid’s further rise. Except scorching summer temperatures, maybe.

As a specialty coffee fan, I would most definitely add Cafeteando (Café|Té|Ando) in Plaza Olavide + El Oso y el Madroño on Calle Doce de Octubre + Zero Point Coffee Shop on Calle de Santa Isabel to this list (top of mind, ‘cause there are quite a few others as well).
Thanks Ana. We will keep your suggestions in mind for our next visit!
Guayacan in Madrid is excellent and during these hard times they are doing deliveries throughout the city!!
