Our European Roasters selection is our most popular option. By working with three different European roasters every month, we aim to showcase the talent, diversity and quality that people all over Europe have to offer.
OUR FEBRUARY 2025 EDITION INCLUDES:
Stephen Houston, the legend of Belfast, is back with his own roastery Lucid. Stephen came 2nd in the 2023 UK Roasting Championships.
Per Nordby from Gothenburg is making his long-overdue return to the Vine in February with this banging Nicaraguan lot.
Our favourite roaster from southern Spain is back again with a lush natural-process Ethiopian coffee.
The roasters that we picked out for this edition come from across the European continent and represent some of the best talent around.
Lucid is Stephen Houston’s solo project since 2023. Before, Stephen worked at a number of great roasters in Belfast including Bailies where he also roasted coffee for us. With Lucid, he’s been able to do what he wants and push his own limits.
Kafferäven is one of Gothenburg’s OG. Per Nordby has been in the business since 2013 and is named after a specific species of fox that has a super sensitive sense of smell. Kafferäven hasn’t been featured in a very long time, making this return all the more special.
Ineffable was responsible for putting Seville on the European coffee map and the skilled team behind this pioneering brand continues to excite with its fantastic coffees. This is their third Coffeevine feature.
