Pop ups are all the rage these days and we just love the idea of setting up shop somewhere for a limited time and to invite friends and strangers to come join us for a cuppa Joe. Over the past few months we’ve hosted three pop ups at our little Amsterdam HQ but due to the fact that our office is effectively Erica’s house, we decided to team up with other organizations who have more suitable spaces.

Last weekend (November 14, 15 & 16) we moved into a small corner inside Charlie + Mary, which is one of Amsterdam’s friendliest and most interesting fashion boutiques. Started by Charlotte and Marieke five years ago, Charlie + Mary specialize in ethical fashion with great stories to tell. They have beautiful men’s and women’s fashion from labels such as Wunderwerk, Monkey Genes, Knowledge and more.
From Friday until Sunday, we served delicious coffees from our current tasting box alongside dangerously yummy cakes from our friends at Rum Baba as well as handy coffee brewing equipment for home / office use. As was to be expected, Saturday was the busiest day and it was great to have filled the shop with such a great buzz. Some people came in specifically for the coffee while others were doing some shopping and came across our pop up and decided to enjoy a cup of black gold too. One very happy customer even said: “Honestly, this was probably the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had!” Thank you so much for your words Emma!
If you didn’t get a chance to visit us during this short but sweet pop up, then you can also come and find us at the Local goods and indie brands market in De Hallen on December 6th. There we’ll be selling our tasting boxes from November ’14 and December ’14.
In case you did swing by Charlie + Mary last weekend, we’d love to hear your feedback!
