Our Global coffee roasters box is a carefully selected monthly Coffeevine edition that brings together two of the most exciting specialty coffee roasters from around the world.
With this box, we want to venture beyond our usual playground in Europe and introduce a broader selection of coffee roasters, many of which are either hard or impossible to get hold of in Europe.

We’re thrilled to bring back the first Global roaster we featured back in May 2023 when we launched this selection. Metric is a super cool brand that has developed somewhat of a cult following in the underground scene.
Lee Knutilla is quietly roasting some of the finest coffees in Canada and this will be his second Coffeevine feature after being chosen for a Canada special back in 2019.
This edition will see us team up with two old friends of the Vine who are returning for a fresh new feature.
Metric is one of Chicago’s finest and most iconic specialty coffee roasters. Founded by Xavier Alexander and Darko Arandjelovic, Metric has a cult underground following, publishes its own magazine and has been setting the bar high for direct trade relationships with farmers.
Quietly Coffee is Lee Knutilla’s project that he runs out of a quiet barn in Sterling, Ontario. He was first featured in our Canada special in 2019 and is now making a comeback with fresh new packaging, a delicious coffee and a desire to tell the world what Quietly Coffee is all about.
