Get into the absolutely incredible May 2026 edition
For next month’s Coffeevine edition, we’ve put together a really stellar lineup of roasters from around the world. This lineup includes a few returning friends of ours as well as a few new names. This selection will include a range of exciting origins that produced some truly incredible coffees.
If you’re looking for the most complete coffee experience there is, then our Total Package will be your best choice. It’s a one-off box that includes all of our picks, including the decaf.
Our most popular options are our European roasters or All roasters subscriptions but we also have a ton of other exciting selections in our shop. You can also buy all of our coffees individually and we offer competitive global shipping rates.
Now, without further ado, let’s take a closer look.
🇪🇺 European Roasters
Newground – London, United Kingdom
This fine roaster from Oxford is widely known as a social enterprise that goes beyond sourcing and roasting the most delicious coffees. Since the beginning, they’ve actively recruited ex-offenders from the UK prison system, given them a new chance and thereby helped them reintegrate into society. Work like this is hugely important because ex-convicts are often shunned and find it hard to get work.
When it comes to coffee, Newground is known for sourcing exceptional lots from trusted producers like Divino Niño, which is a group of around 50 small-holder farmers in Huila. This coffee is a washed blend of Caturra, Castillo and Colombia with notes of blackcurrant and caramel.

Sandbox – Göttingen, Germany
We first became aware of Sandbox during a visit to Berlin last year where we enjoyed an exceptionally delicious decaf from this roaster at Zacharias. We hopped on a quick call with Lukas Weiglein, Sandbox’s founder, and immediately clicked. Thus, here we are.
Sandbox is a boutique, founder-led roastery that stands out by roasting their own clean, complex, and high-quality beans on-site, with a strong focus on sustainability, transparency, and creative, eco-friendly roasting methods. For it’s Coffeevine debut, Sandbox will roast for us an unusual natural processed Ugandan lot from Rwenzori Mountains. We don’t often have Ugandan lots, which makes this extra special. This coffee has notes of melon and cherry.
🟡 Single roast profile for filter & espresso.
Cayo – Paris, France
Founded as a creative space that combines music, wine and specialty coffee, Cayo has, over the years, become a formidable name in the Parisian coffee scene. We first worked with Fox and Drew McInerney in 2024 and we’re excited to have them back on board for a fresh new feature.
Located in the 13th Arrondissement, Cayo positions itself as a local Parisian café with a Melbournian coffee culture. Their roasted coffees are always a highlight and for this second feature of theirs, they will roast for us a really delicious natural processed Rwandan lot from Kigoma 910. Expect notes of red fruits and blueberry.

🌍 Global Roasters
Portebleue
Tanner Gooding of Portebleue has been a Coffeevine subscriber for many years. It was thus only a matter of time before he decided to reach out and propose becoming one of our partners. As a small roastery that is based in Villeray, Portebleue works hard to ethically source the finest lots and roast them to bring out the sweetest and most delicious characteristics.
We’re really excited to bring you another talented Canadian roaster and if you know us, you know we have a thing for them. Portebleue will roast a super fruity natural processed Guatemalan lot from Las Flores, offering notes of chocolate cake and raspberry.
🔴 Filter roast only.
Enjoy – Providence, United States
We’re equally thrilled to introduce you to our second Global Roaster for May, Enjoy Coffee from Providence in Rhode Island. We’ve had our eye on this funky roastery for a while and they, in turn, have been big fans our work for years. Founder Justin Enis has been a well-known persona in the coffee industry for a long time and Enjoy is his personal project that has allowed him to source, roast and brew coffee just how he likes it.
For its Coffeevine debut in May, Enjoy will roast a really exquisite Araza Osmotic Dehydration processed Colombian coffee from Juan Puerta. We absolutely love the sweet and tart flavour notes that it offers including satsuma and tamarind.
🔴 Filter roast only.
🌙 Decaf Feature
Calm – London, United Kingdom
Our decaf partner for May is one of our three rotating decaf specialists, Calm. Founded by William Whiting, this roastery sources and roasts a fresh and seasonal range of decaf, lowcaf and even some regular caffeinated coffees. It’s goal is to offer something for every need, from mild to wild.
We have worked with Calm many times already and for this release, we’re pleased to offer our customers a lovely natural processed, sugarcane decaf Caturra from El Vergel. This producer is widely known as one of the most advanced decaf focused coffee producers in Colombia. Expect notes of fresh fruits and chocolate.
